I am a dedicated PhD student enrolled in Auburn University pursing literature with a minor in Women's Studies. My research interests are both varied and deeply rooted in a decolonized literature and education. I am particularly passionate about the following areas:
Nineteenth-Century American Literature, American Women Writers, Southern Literature, Composition Pedagogy, Archives and Special Collections, Writing Program Administration, Embodiment Studies, Trauma Studies, and Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies
I hold an MA in Literary Studies from Georgia State University, where I taught in the First-Year Writing Program and completed a thesis titled "Feminism is for Children: The Transcendental Failings of a Utopian Little Women." In addition to my scholarship, I have led pedagogy workshops on AI in the writing classroom and remain committed to accessible, interdisciplinary teaching.
